About Let’s Face It
Facing Tobacco, Together.
St. Louis is taking important steps towards becoming a healthier, smoke-free community. The Saint Louis County Department of Health is proud to support this effort with its new smoke-free initiative, “Let’s Face It.” Our primary goal is to inspire the people of St. Louis to face the challenges of tobacco, together.
Let’s Face It represents a long-term commitment to make our community a better place to live, work, and play. Ultimately, we’d like to give everyone in St. Louis the opportunity to live the fullest, healthiest life possible. Together, we will:
- Connect with St. Louis area youth and empower them to live tobacco-free
- Provide resources, tools, and encouragement to smokers who want to quit
- Engage residents as a positive force in moving towards a smoke-free community
We’ll be updating content in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Please explore and visit often as we add new features to inspire, empower, and engage the people of St. Louis in helping tackle this challenge.
Let’s Face It is funded by the Saint Louis County Department of Health through a Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) grant from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Funds for this grant are provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Learn more by reading the St. Louis County Community Action Plan.
